Ken Chambers Design/Build Inc was established in 1991 and has built over 120 homes in the Edmond area. Ken’s roots in the building business started as a boy working for his father, Jesse Chambers. Jesse, a reputable area builder since 1960, early on had his son involved; every day school was out, building a strong work ethic and concept of new home construction. After high school Ken attended the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture and graduated with a BS degree in Construction Science. Ken then began developing floor plans and learning the business end of building new homes. Jesse further emphasized quality and service over volume. Five years later Ken Chambers Design/Build was incorporated, and steadily has become a solid fixture in the Edmond area. Since 1991 Ken has built strong ties with his sub contractors retaining 90% of the skilled craftsmen for over ten years. These people are respected, appreciated, and rewarded for their best effort…you get what you pay for.

            Ken has a variety of skills including full plan design, quality control, communicating with subs, suppliers, and customers; follow through, detailing, and finishing. A finished home by Ken has been inspected and detailed personally to minimize service work. Ken is the point person for all phases including after the sale, which motivates it to be right the first time.

            Experience includes designing and building single-family homes ranging from 2200 to 3500 square feet. Built on standard developed lots or undeveloped acreage land whether it be clear flat space or rolling wooded terrain.
